The CMs of Arunachal, Manipur and Assam decided not to meet Northeast Students Forum at JNU

The Chief Ministers of Arunachal, Assam and Manpur visited the campus of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) but decided not to let the JNU Northeast Students Forum enter their public address. The students say that the leaders came this far to keep the central government leadership happy rather than represent their states. "It is shameful to see that these CMs came this far and not raise our issues of being treated here as second class citizens. A professor has called us sex workers and our CMs decide to stay quiet. Shame on them," said the coordinator of North East forum. They are saying that they are tired of being treated as second class citizens and their CMs have let them down.
