Threatening posters of militants have surfaced in Kashmir, asking women working in police department to resign and informers to shun informing police about activities of militants. The posters have surfaced in troubled south Kashmir at many places.

One such poster accessed by Democracy news live reads that: "We appeal all those women working in police department as SPOs to resign within month's time."

In the poster, militants claim to have accessed a list of school and college going girls having developed illicit relationships with army men and working as informers for them.

The militants then appeal the parents of these girls to stop their daughters from such activities else face consequences.

Militants also in the poster claim that: "We have a list of people who are informing police about militant activities."

Militants then again warn them to refrain from such activities, again claiming that they have a proof.

The posters with stamp and photo of their commander seems a real one from militants.

The posters also reads that militants in advance have appealed people to erase the barbed wires from orchards but their appeal was not responded and adds that: we again appeal people to remove the barbed wires of orchards immediately.
