A SIKH PRIEST WHO HAD JOINED THE FARMERS' PROTESTS COMMITTED SUICIDE.

Baba Ram Singh, the 65-year-old priest from a Sikh temple in Haryana shot himself near the Singhu Border. He said he was sacrificing his life to express anger and pain against the government's injustice.

OVER 2000 WOMEN ARE PREPARING TO JOIN THE PROTESTING FARMERS AT THE SINGHU BORDER.

These women who will join the demonstration are from the families of farmers who are protesting there. The farmer leaders said that they are making arrangements for their arrival from different parts of Punjab. This is part of the message from the farmers to the Indian Prime Minister that they will not relent until the government repeals the farm laws.

17 seats will be reserved for the indigenous community in the commission. The bill originally proposed 24 seats among the 155 members of the Constituent Assembly. It was adopted by the Lower House Chamber of Deputies in November but was rejected by the upper House-Senate due to the lack of a quorum. A mixed commission made up of deputies and senators was then assembled to find common ground on the deal.

SOUTH KOREA HAS RECORDED A SURGE IN COVID-19 CASES

The authorities have expanded testing to track down asymptomatic cases in the third and most severe wave of the deadly virus. On Wednesday, a total of 1,078 new cases were added. It broke Sunday's record of 1030 and raised the tally to 45,442. The weekly average of 832.6 cases a day now calls for the highest Level 3.
