Arsenal vs Liverpool 3-3 thriller in Emirates Stadium

The Premier League fixture at the Emirates Stadium wasn't a title decider, for both Arsenal and Liverpool. However, the game ended in a thrilling display of attacking football, and dreadful defending from both the Premier League clubs as the game ended 3-3.

Arsenal started the game without Giroud in the front after the striker was injured in Tuesday's Carbado Cup quarter-final against West Ham. However, the attacking trio of Lacazette, Sanchez, and Ozil created problems for the Liverpool back four initially.

Liverpool took the game away from Arsenal after the first quarter and a cross from Salah was headed by Liverpool's poster boy Coutinho. However, Liverpool failed to take their chances as the first half ended with a one goal lead in favor of Liverpool.

For Arsenal, the game looked to be over early in the second half after Egyptian Salah penned a solo attack in the 52 minute with a brilliant curler continuing his hot streak of form in the Premier League.

But, a terrific diving header from Alexis Sanchez and a long-range shot from Xahaka leveled the game for the Gunners. However, in the 58th minute, an assist from Lacazette helped Ozil to nail his fourth goal for Arsenal in the Premier League.

Liverpool had no intention of giving Arsenal a parading victory in Emirates, as Brazilian Roberto Firminho's shot beat Petr Cech and lopped in. With this draw Liverpool is positioned fourth in the Premier League table just one point ahead of Arsenal.
