The students from several Asian nations came together in Delhi to form inter country teams and participate in the NASA Space settlement Design contest, 2018. Five teams were formed and in a day they had to make a space settlement orbiting the earth like moon with a complete description of the shape of the colony, aerodynamics and engineering supporting it, the residential and space design within the colony, the occupation of the people, recreation activities, evacuation plan and many more

And they had to achieve this fate in one day. At the end of the day, they showcased their space settlements in front of an esteemed panel of judges ranging from aerospace engineers, sociologists and urban space development expert and went through grilling round of questions.

The winning team won a fully funded trip to NASA.
