IIT-Hyderabad Incubated Startup’s Gamified Device ‘Armable’ To Help Victims Of Stroke, Upper Motor Deficit

- BeAble Health, an Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IIT-H) incubated startup, developed a gamified arm rehabilitation device for neuro-rehabilitation of stroke victims and motor rehabilitation of victims with upper motor deficit, reports Times of India .
- According to the report, a press release by IIT-H said the 'ArmAble' was recently unveiled by NITI Aayog's vice chairman Rajiv Kumar during the seventh foundation day celebrations of Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC) at Delhi.
- BeAble Heath's 'ArmAble' is aimed at solving a pressing need for intensive, engaging and regular rehabilitation therapy for upper limb.
