IIT Hyderabad-incubated startup PuREenergy launches electric two-wheelers

Co-locates facility in the campus, aims at 10,000 EVs this fiscal
- PuREenergy, an Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad-incubated startup has launched its long-range, high-performance electric Pure EV two-wheelers designed for Indian conditions.
- Launching four models-Egnite, Etrance, Epluto and Etron, the startup aims to deploy over 10,000 electric vehicles on road during 2019-20.
- Pure EV is the electric vehicle vertical of PuREnergy, incubated by IIT Hyderabad.
- Rohit Vadera, Chief Executive Officer, PURE EV, said, "We have obtained Automotive Research Association of India approvals for electric bikes and two-wheelers.
