Cinema today has changed for the better and every other flick seems to be breaking stereotypes of the so called Bollywood romancing moviedom. Kudos!

Badhai Ho is one such brilliant entertainer that stands out on many facets and shall continue to hold a place in the list of 'must watch' films, atleast in the recent times.

Films direction is superb comparable to the "Bareilly ki Barfi" league given it comes from the same team of artistic geniuses. The movie may have been a bit unconventional and somewhat "awkward" to begin with but the underlying message of a strong husband wife love (which seems to be dying in this new age where extra marital affairs and adultery are trends) and its natural treatment within the script is pretty phenomenal. The movie is filled with witty dialogues and surely tickle some muscles in your stomach.

About the performances: each and every character did complete justice to their respective roles. Ayushman wee bit better than his recent Andhadhun, Neena Gupta is an actress we have admired all these years and her comeback in Mulk and now this has set her apart from her contemporaries. Surekha Ji, dadi's character has been my personal favourite - so very convincing! Others - Sanya (Dangal dame), her mother (Sheeba Chadha) and the would be father are all so good that you would feel like a part of the plot at some point. And yes the younger kid brother is quite funny too! Music is a big plus.

A small budget movie, yet big in every way.. enough to keep that smile throughout the two hours. It is a must watch for cinema lovers.

In summary, Badhai to this team for this awesome piece of work!
