Aligarh Murder: 3 year old kidnapped and murdered
A three year old girl was recently kidnapped and brutally murdered by two people and dumped in Aligarh.
In one of this year's cruelest murder case from Uttar Pradesh's Aligarh, a two-and-a-half year old girl, Twinkle Sharma was brutally kidnapped on 31st of May, 2019. Her dead body was found on 2nd June, 2019 in Tappal Area of Aligarh after an intensive search and rescue operation. The minor was strangled to death, acid was poured on her body and her eyes were found gouged out.
The Aligarh Police have arrested two men, Mohammed Jahed and Aslam after investigating the crime scenes and have sent both of them to judicial custody. According to the them, the girl was murdered due to an altercation over money between the accused and her father. The girl's parents had failed to repay a loan of ten thousand rupees.
The postmortem report stated that the child had small and large intestines, kidneys and urinary bladder missing from her body. Any chances of rape has not been confirmed till now.
The Aligarh Police will proceed to probe the murder under the National Security Act and transfer the case further to the fast track court for summary trial and conviction. Both of the accused have been booked under Sections 302 (punishment for murder) and Section 363 (punishment for kidnapping) of the Indian Penal Code.
Social activists are asking for hanging the two culprits as soon as the conviction happens.

According to a report by the National Human Rights Commission of India, 40,000 children are abducted each year, leaving 11,000 untraced.
