The communication between the Pakistan government and Baloch protesters has hit a 'dead end' as the activists claim that all the individuals participating in the protests have not been released, highlighting the issue of Baloch people's disappearances, The Express Tribune reported on Monday. In the last three days, the Islamabad Capital Police released over 250 people upon the order from the Pakistan caretaker PM Anwarul Haq Kakar. However, despite the release of a majority of the individuals undergoing judicial processes, discussions continue to show no progress.

The Balochistan Yakjehti Committee (BYC) march still expresses dissatisfaction with the government's efforts. These protesters are advocating for the disbanding of the provincial Counter-Terrorism Department in Balochistan, the release of all alleged "missing persons, and the freeing of their detained fellows who were arrested after clashes with police last week. TLP chief Saad Hussain Rizvi expressed solidarity with the protestors and condemned enforced disappearances, voicing support for bringing accused individuals to court.

The activists, led by Dr. Mahrang Baloch, had marched 1,600 kilometers to the Pakistani capital to protest against rights abuses and a recent death in custody in Balochistan. The communication between the protestors and the government, facilitated by a committee formed by the prime minister, resulted in the release of 290 protesters. While security for the Red Zone in Islamabad has been assured, the activists are continuing their protest outside the Islamabad Press Club, demanding justice and resolution to their concerns.
