One of the organizers of the conference, Jaylani Hussein from Minneapolis, highlighted the damage done to President Biden's relationship with the American Muslim community due to his reluctance to call for a ceasefire. Hussein expressed the anger felt within the community, emphasizing the tragic loss of innocent lives and the fact that many had voted for Biden in the 2020 election.
