Pope Francis has once again emphasized the importance of peace in Ukraine and the Middle East, urging for continuous efforts to put an end to the ongoing conflicts. During his Angelus prayer on Sunday, the Pope expressed his prayers for the tormented population of Ukraine, as well as the people in Palestine and Israel. Pointing out the presence of yellow and blue Ukrainian flags in St. Peter's Square, he highlighted the need for peace and good will to prevail.

The Pontiff stressed that war is always a defeat, benefiting only weapon manufacturers. He urged all individuals and nations not to resign themselves to warfare, emphasizing that peace is indeed possible with the right intentions and actions. These heartfelt words from the Pope serve as a reminder that the pursuit of peace should remain a top priority for the global community.
