Hoffner, a resident of Chicago, died peacefully in her sleep on Sunday night, according to her close friend Joe Conant. Known for her incredible energy and sharp mind, Hoffner made her record-breaking tandem skydive on October 1st from 13,500 feet at Skydive Chicago in Ottawa, Illinois.
