It's shocking how little coverage this is getting:

After the Oct. 7 attack, Hamas offered to free children, women & elderly hostages in exchange for 5 day ceasefire
Israel said no and invaded Gaza instead
Those hostages are now trapped under the bombshttps://t.co/9SUw33t7b9
The Israeli leader also made it clear that Israel's main objectives in the war against Hamas are to destroy the militant group and bring back the hostages. Netanyahu rejected calls for a ceasefire in Gaza without the release of the hostages, but agreed that an extended pause in the fighting is needed for their safe release. Meanwhile, the Israeli military has expressed readiness to evacuate babies from Gaza's largest hospital, where fuel shortages caused by the intense fighting have put numerous newborns at risk.
Netanyahu has vowed to continue the battle with "full force" and has called Hamas an integral part of the axis of terrorism led by Iran. Despite global pressure, including from the US, which is its main ally, Israel remains committed to its cause and the defense of its people.
