In another major success, Security Forces have caught a terrorist belongs to banned Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist outfit at Handwara area of North Kashmir in J&K.

The official sources informed that the arrested Lashkar terrorist has been identified as Amir, a resident of Karachi in Pakistan.

Earlier, army and J&K Police in a joint operation have eliminated nine foreign militants in North Kashmir in less than a week and all were Pakistani nationals. All of them also belonged to LeT.

Sources also added that security forces also recovered an assault rifle and two live magazines from the possession of the Pak terrorist who was arrested during an operation.

It is worth mentioning that Army along with state police and other para-military forces have launched an operation against militants called as 'Operation All Out' and during this security forces have killed 197 militants this year. Many of them were also foreigners and belonged to Lashkar-e-Taiba or Jaish-e-Mohammad militant outfits, whereas local militants mostly belonged to Hizbul Mujahideen (HM).
