Israeli forces have killed six Palestinians, including two children, during a raid on the Jenin refugee camp in the occupied West Bank, according to Palestinian officials. The raid, which caused widespread destruction, occurred as talks to extend the truce between Israel and Hamas were underway. Adam Samer al-Ghoul, 8, and Basil Suleiman Abu al-Wafa, 15, were shot and killed during the raid.

Two other Palestinians, Muhammad Jamal Zubaidi and Wissam Ziad Hanoun, were also killed. The Israeli army claimed that Zubaidi was a senior Islamic Jihad operative involved in terrorist activities. The raid has been described as the largest since the recent Israel-Hamas war began. CCTV footage shows one of the children falling on the street after being hit by a bullet, while another video shows the other child calling for help as bullets are fired around him.

The Israeli army has faced criticism for blocking medics from reaching the injured in the camp. Israeli forces have conducted daily raids in the West Bank since the war began, and the number of people arrested since October 7 exceeds 3,325, according to the Palestinian Prisoner's Society. At least 242 Palestinians, including over 50 children, have been killed in the occupied West Bank since October 7.
