Iran's Supreme Leader Urges Muslim Nations: Sever Political Ties with Israel!
Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, urges Muslim states with political ties to Israel to sever those ties temporarily as part of a broader call for an Islamic embargo on Israel.
Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has called upon Muslim states with political ties to Israel to sever those ties for a limited time, according to state media reports. This appeal comes in the wake of Khamenei's previous call for an Islamic oil and food embargo on Israel. Khamenei emphasized that it is unacceptable for some Islamic governments to condemn Israeli crimes while others do not, stressing that the primary responsibility of Islamic governments should be to cut off Israel from energy and goods.
At a joint summit between the Organisation for Islamic Cooperation and the Arab League, Muslim states did not agree to impose the wide-ranging sanctions on Israel that were requested by Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi. Khamenei made these latest comments during his visit to an exhibition highlighting the latest achievements of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' Aerospace Force, including the Fattah 2, a new version of Iran's alleged first hypersonic missile. Iran previously unveiled its domestically made hypersonic ballistic missile in June, claiming that it could bypass the most advanced anti-ballistic missile systems of the United States and Israel.
