A spokesperson for Yemen's Houthi group has issued a warning to the United States and its allies following an incident in the Red Sea. The spokesperson stated that a missile from a US battleship targeting Yemen's naval forces exploded near a Gabon-owned ship, which was travelling from Russia. The Houthi spokesperson went on to say that the Red Sea would become a "burning arena" if the US and its allies continued their actions, and urged countries bordering the Red Sea to recognize the dangers that threaten their national security.

The leader of the Houthi group, Abdel-Malek al-Houthi, also issued a warning, stating that they would strike US warships if the Iranian-backed militia was targeted by Washington. This warning comes after the US set up a multinational force to counter Houthi attacks on commercial vessels in the Red Sea. The situation in the Red Sea remains tense, with the Houthi group issuing stern warnings in response to US actions in the region.
