One person was killed and 25 others were injured in a landmine blast that occurred in northwest Pakistan on Wednesday. The incident took place in the Shawal area of North Waziristan tribal district when a vehicle carrying 26 workers, who were engaged in the dry fruits trade, hit a roadside landmine. The explosion resulted in the death of one worker and left 25 others injured. The injured individuals were immediately transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

In response to the incident, police contingents swiftly arrived at the scene and sealed off the entire area. Their primary objective is to apprehend the perpetrators involved in the blast.
