In a daring daylight robbery, an armed gang targeted a luxury jewellery and watch store in Paris, making off with an estimated 10 to 15 million euros worth of goods. The store, which belongs to the renowned brand Piaget, was robbed at around 1:00 pm local time, with early reports suggesting the involvement of three individuals, one of whom was seen carrying a weapon.

Luckily, no one was harmed during the incident. The targeted store is located on Rue de la Paix, in the heart of Paris, near the prestigious Place Vendome, where several high-end jewellery brands are situated. This incident raises concerns about the security measures in place in the area, especially considering that a similar high-profile heist occurred in April when the Bulgari store was targeted, resulting in the loss of several million euros worth of jewellery.

Piaget, a Swiss luxury brand known for its high-end watches and exquisite jewellery, is a subsidiary of the Richemont group. The group also owns other luxury goods companies such as Cartier, Baume and Mercier, Chloe, and Van Cleef and Arpels. Piaget's products often have price tags that reach several tens of thousands of euros, making them an attractive target for criminals.

Law enforcement agencies are currently investigating the robbery, and it is hoped that their efforts will lead to the apprehension of the culprits and recovery of the stolen items.
