In a shocking incident on a Delta Air Lines flight, a male passenger allegedly sexually assaulted a woman and her teenage daughter. The victims have filed a $2 million lawsuit against the airline, accusing them of gross negligence and seeking compensation for the trauma they experienced during the nine-hour flight.

According to court documents, the flight attendants on the JFK Airport to Athens, Greece flight blatantly ignored the pleas for help from the plaintiffs. Despite the drunk and belligerent behavior of the male passenger, they continued serving him drinks, leading to the escalation of the assault.

The lawsuit further claims that the staff allowed the intoxicated man to leave the plane at the destination without alerting local authorities or law enforcement about the alleged sexual assault. The complaint states that the man appeared to be getting increasingly drunk as the flight attendants continued to serve him alcohol.

The incident occurred when the intoxicated man, seated next to the mother and daughter, tried to engage in conversation with the 16-year-old girl. When she ignored him, he became aggressive, yelling and making obscene gestures.

The man also demanded personal information from the girl and frightened her by touching her back. The mother intervened, informing the man that her daughter was a minor, but he showed no concern. He grabbed the woman's arm and continued his inappropriate behavior, causing other passengers to notice the situation.

The woman reached out to flight attendants, expressing her fear and requesting assistance, but they allegedly brushed off her concerns. Despite the pleas for help, the man continued to harass the teenage girl, even kicking the seats in front of them.

The lawsuit claims that the flight attendants took no action to address the situation, leaving the victims feeling unsafe. In a disturbing turn of events, the man allegedly slid his hand underneath the girl's shirt, groping for the clasp on her bra strap.

The terrified girl fled her seat, crying and trembling. The man then moved his hand up the inside of the mother's thigh, prompting her to scream and jump out of her seat. The woman again requested a seat change, but the flight attendants allegedly said there was nothing they could do. Luckily, a male passenger volunteered to switch seats with the girl, providing some protection for the remainder of the flight.

Upon landing, the flight attendants offered the woman and her daughter 5,000 free airline miles and an apology for the traumatic experience they endured. Delta Air Lines stated that they have zero tolerance for customers engaging in inappropriate or unlawful behavior and prioritize the safety of their customers and employees.

The victims' lawyer emphasized that what happened on the flight was not just a nightmare, but a preventable incident. The lawsuit seeks to hold Delta Air Lines accountable for their alleged negligence and secure justice and compensation for the victims.
