With a two-meter diameter primary mirror and a 2.5 billion pixel camera, Xuntian aims to outperform NASA's Hubble Space Telescope. Scheduled for launch next year, Xuntian will co-orbit with China's Tiangong space station and has a projected mission lifespan of 10 years, with the potential for extensions.
