BTK Killer Tied to Unsolved Murders: New Clues Uncovered in Oklahoma and Missouri Cases
x

Dennis Rader, also known as the BTK Killer, is now being identified as the primary suspect in two cold cases involving unsolved murders in Oklahoma and Missouri. Law enforcement officials recently began searching Rader's former Kansas property for potential evidence. The investigation began after authorities re-examined the 1976 disappearance of Cynthia Kinney, a 16-year-old cheerleader in Pawhuska, Oklahoma.

Rader's past role as a regional installer for ADT alarms and his connection to the area raised suspicions, prompting further investigation. Rader's writings, which contained the phrase "bad laundry day," led authorities to explore other missing persons and unsolved murders that could be linked to the BTK killer. Additionally, Rader is believed to be the main suspect in the murder of Shawna Beth Garber in McDonald County, Missouri, in 1990. The 22-year-old's body was discovered restrained with different bindings, revealing Rader's possible involvement through new information.

Although Rader has confessed to ten murders and is serving a life sentence, recent investigations suggest he may be connected to even more unsolved cases. The search of Rader's former property has yielded items of interest that will undergo thorough examination to determine their relevance to the cases. Authorities are working closely with the Kansas Bureau of Investigation, and Rader's daughter, Kerri Rawson, has also worked with investigators to provide any potential leads. Rawson expressed hope that answers can be found regarding her father's potential involvement in these additional cases.
