In an appalling incident, at least four members of a family were brutally axed to death in Sheikhupura, Pakistan on Sunday. The victims, 80-year-old Shah Muhammad, his 62-year-old wife Ushra, his 18-year-old daughter Kiran, and his 8-year-old grandson, were allegedly killed with a sharp tool, while another family member sustained injuries. The police immediately rushed to the scene upon receiving the information and have launched an investigation into the horrific crime. This tragic event comes on the heels of another violent attack in Ghotki, where at least five people were killed in an armed assault on a village.

The police have stated that the attack was the result of an ongoing feud between two clans, leading to a deadly shooting incident that left two others injured. Authorities have reported that lawlessness prevails in Ghotki and other districts in upper Sindh due to their proximity to the Katcha area, which is infamous for criminal activities conducted by bandit gangs patronized by tribal chieftains and influentials.

These incidents have once again shed light on the alarming prevalence of violent crimes in certain areas of Pakistan, including kidnappings for ransom and other criminal activities. Both the local authorities and the community at large are in shock and mourning over these devastating acts of violence. The families of the victims are left to cope with the immeasurable loss and are seeking justice for their loved ones.
