5-Year-Old Girl Found Unharmed After Mother's Murder, Father in Custody
A 5-year-old girl reported missing after her mother's murder has been found unharmed in western Kentucky. Her father, wanted in connection with the murder, was taken into custody.
A 5-year-old girl who was reported missing after her mother was found murdered has been found unharmed in western Kentucky. Kentucky State Police issued an Amber Alert for Lela Black after troopers discovered her mother, Kelly Black, fatally shot at their home in Princeton on Sunday.

Authorities believed the girl was with her father, Byron Black, and an arrest warrant was issued for him in connection with the murder of Kelly Black. Lela and her father had last been heard from on Friday. The girl was found with her father on Monday and he was taken into custody. No further information has been released at this time.
