Players from the youth football team who were trapped in a Thai cave for over two weeks travelled to Buenos Aires where they played a game against River Plates' youth side on Sunday.

In July this year, a group of boys got trapped in a flooded cave in northern Chiang Rai province in Thailand. The 12 members of the Wild Boars football team and their coach were trapped for more than two weeks with no food and no means of contacting the outside world. Several countries sent their special teams to Thailand to rescue the boys.

The Thai team, Wild Boars were invited to the Youth Olympics, which is being hosted in the Argentine capital, to play against the Argentine giants at the Estadio Monumental.

The game reportedly finished 3-3 after an hour.
