You are the orchestrator of your own fate. The statement is not an eyewash when it comes to talking about Shubham Mehrotra who is the youngest Digital Marketing CEO in India at the age of 27. The founder of Laudco Media, Shubham Mehrotra has singlehandedly grown the agency into one of India's most trusted digital consultancies, by expanding the business to increase the Laudco Media footprint across India and the Asia Pacific. She has been awarded the Young Business Leader of the Year by ET now & Business Television and Women of Excellence at Women Economic Forum 2020. She has a rich experience working with marquee clients in the digital Industry including big national as well as global brands. On the global stage, Shubham twice represented India at the United Nations' Global Young Leaders summits in Shanghai and Washington D.C.

Adding another feather to the golden cap, Karnataka Digital Consultancy Council in association with Women Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry has elected Shubham as the state President of KDCC. As the nation's largest Chamber of Commerce & Industry for women, KDCC's role is to drive thought leadership and gender diversity, underpinned by a commitment to ensuring female representation and inclusiveness in India. "This result of the election is a direct reflection of Shubham's leadership skills and ability to develop a clear, transformative Digital Marketing vision in the Karnataka state of India. We applaud and congratulate Shubham on her remarkable leadership and her vision for a digital-first India for 2020-21," said Dr Harbeen Arora, Global Chairperson, WICCI.

The council's annual agenda, under Shubham's leadership, will focus on three key development areas:

Challenging digital gender stereotypes;

Promoting digital skills and education;

Advocating for more women entrepreneurs

The 2020-21 mission for KDCC will be Skill Development & Empowerment: Women & Enterprise in Digital India, which will highlight and support the diversity of women's digital entrepreneurial activities, which were typically unacknowledged in, and unsupported by, the wider entrepreneurship, tech and start-up ecosystems. This will be done through a series of virtual and on-ground events and workshops, which will provide a reflective and dynamic space for women creatives, techies and entrepreneurs to empower themselves and each other through collectively identifying and addressing the internal and external barriers that keep them from fulfilling their potential.
