  • Back in December 2017, received an EU bank financing of €15m, to support the transfer of its disruptive perovskite on silicon tandem solar cell technology from lab scale to commercialisation as well.
  • For the starters, Oxford PV develops and commercialises thin-film perovskite solar cells that are printed directly onto silicon solar cells, CIGS solar cells, or glass.
  • Notably, Perovskite material is being used to build highly-efficient solar cells which could one day replace commercial silicon solar cells.
  • Based out of Oxford, UK, Oxford PV has a research & development site in Oxford, UK and an industrial site in Brandenburg, Germany enabling the accelerated transfer of their technology to industrial scale solar cell production.
