US State Department issues global security alert as tensions escalate worldwide and protests target American interests

The US State Department has issued a worldwide caution security alert for American citizens overseas due to increased tensions in various locations around the world, the potential for terrorist attacks, and demonstrations or violent actions against US citizens and interests.
