US Senator Calls for Investigation into KSI and Logan Paul's Energy Drink
US Senator Chuck Schumer has called for an investigation into Prime Energy, an energy drink promoted by high-profile YouTubers KSI and Logan Paul, alleging it is being targeted at children despite its high caffeine content.
Each can of the drink contains 200mg of caffeine, almost twice the amount in rival energy drink Red Bull, and carries a warning stating it is not recommended for children under the age of 18.
Schumer states that the drink is being marketed "in near identical form" as a caffeine-free drink from the same brand, potentially leading to parents unknowingly buying the caffeinated version for their children.
Schools around the world have also issued warnings about Prime drinks or banned them altogether, citing concerns over the high caffeine content.
