Initial reports indicated that 15 people were trapped, but rescue efforts managed to pull out 14 individuals, with three showing no vital signs. The collapse was caused by the illegal placement of perlite, a mineral with high water content, on the roof during construction.

Investigations are ongoing, and the construction company managers have been detained by the police. Concerns have been raised about the lack of communication during the rescue effort, as parents anxiously wait for updates on their children's conditions.
