Schumer Urges China to Support Israel in Face of Hamas Attacks, Calling for United Front Against Terrorism

Xi responded by stating that competition and confrontation are not in line with the trend of the times, emphasizing the common interests between China and the US. Communication between US and Chinese officials has increased in recent months, improving strained ties on various issues. The visit by Schumer's delegation follows high-level visits from Biden administration officials. The outcome of this visit is seen as a potential foundation for a summit between Xi and US President Joe Biden next month.
