Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif addressed the public during the rally in the NA-130 constituency, where he will be contesting the upcoming general elections. PML-N Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz was also in attendance. The rally route covered various locations in Lahore.

After the shocking incident, PML-N leader Marriyum Aurangzeb clarified that upon Nawaz Sharif's instructions, the real lion that had been brought by one of the supporters was immediately returned. She emphasized the importance of respecting animal rights according to Islamic laws. The incident gained attention on social media, with a video showing the lion and tiger being transported through the street on a vehicle.

The situation caught the attention of civilians who were watching in awe. However, following the incident, Sharif promised to uphold Islamic laws and respect animal rights, reiterating that no real lion or any other animal should be brought to any rally in Pakistan.
