Iran's Foreign Minister, Amirabdollahian, declared at the World Economic Forum in Davos that if the Gaza war ends, attacks against Israel and its interests by the Axis of Resistance will cease. The Islamic Republic supports Hamas in its conflict with Israel and accuses the United States of backing Israeli crimes in Gaza. Amirabdollahian emphasized that an end to the conflict in Gaza will lead to an end of military actions and crises in the region, highlighting the interconnectedness of security in the Red Sea and the developments in Gaza.

He warned that if Israel's actions in Gaza do not stop, everyone will suffer and all resistance fronts will remain active. In addition, U.S. President Joe Biden labeled Iran-backed Houthi forces in Yemen as a terrorist group, prompting American and British air strikes across Yemen. The Houthi militia has been targeting Red Sea shipping in solidarity with Palestinians against Israel and has threatened a strong response to the U.S. and British strikes.

Amirabdollahian also disclosed that Tehran shared intelligence with Iraq regarding alleged activities of the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad in the Iraq's semi-autonomous Kurdish region. Iran claimed its Revolutionary Guards attacked Israel's spy headquarters in Iraq's city of Erbil, despite Iraq's denial of the existence of such a spy center. The tensions in the Middle East continue to escalate as Iran and its allies stand against Israel and its supporters, posing a significant threat to the region's stability.
