The New Delhi Summit, which marks the culmination of India's year-long G20 Presidency, is set to take place on September 9-10 at the newly inaugurated Bharat Mandapam (ITPO) complex. Led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the summit will bring together leaders from 18 countries to adopt the Leaders' Declaration, reaffirming their commitment to the priorities agreed upon in ministerial and working group meetings.

In a display of diplomatic power, India has invited nine additional state leaders from outside the G20 member states, including Bangladesh, Mauritius, Oman, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, Spain, Netherlands, Egypt, and Nigeria. These leaders will join the regular invitees, such as the United Nations, International Monetary Fund, World Bank, World Health Organization, and several others. The heads of regional organizations like the African Union, African Union Development Agency, and Association of Southeast Asian Nations have also been invited.
