Poonch:- At approx 1725h, Indian army saw suspicious move close to the post, 100m near Line of Control (LoC).

As Pakistan's Border Action Team (BAT) opened fire on the Indian side of LoC, our troops retaliated by opening fire in return.

One RPG was also fired towards the post, by militants. Three jawans have sustained minor injuries and have been evacuated to 425 Field Hospital, Poonch (including one with head injury).

All three jawans are said to be stable.

One terrorist has been killed in the incident. The body of the terrorist along with four RPGs has been recovered.
